Our prayers have been answered and our PNC has found a pastor for our church. His call was confirmed at a congrgetional meeting Sept. 28.
His first sermon will be this Sunday Oct. 5th.
Rev. Charles Moore
Her comes to us from New Braunfels, TX; he received his Masters of Divinity in 1990 and was ordained that year; received a Doctorate of ministry in 2010 both of which were acquired at Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, CA.
He has served churches in Washington, Idaho, California and Texas. His experience has been as an Associate Youth Pastor, Interim Pastor and Senior Pastor. He has been a delegate to General Assembly in 2006 and 2010; served as member of Committee on Ministry in the Sacramento and Kendal Presbyteries and Moderator of Sacramento Presbytery. He was an Adjunct Professor at Simpson University, Redding Ca.
He lived in Tampa, FL., when his father was stationed there at the Air Force base. He is married and has two daughters Aubrey Grace 16 and Frances Joy 12 . His wife Rebecca enjoys playing and teaching the oboe. Charles, in his free time enjoys bowling, water sports, baseball, snow skiing and some golf.
